Speaker 1:

Warren Buffett said only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked. Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked. Now, a lot of individuals. They just think that that has to do with investing. Not the case, I mean. Yes, it does, but that's not the only case. And that wasn't the meaning behind the meaning and when he said that A lot of people don't know that Warren Buffett has invested heavily into doing a lot of mind work.

Speaker 1:

Right, he calls it he's a man of brevity, by the way, so everything's kind of shortened. It's same thing like when we talked about the other day, like he schedules mind power time. He calls it nothing time. Yeah, steve Jobs calls it zone out time. Warren Buffett, he's very much a I would say, a thinking thinker. He thinks a lot about stuff and the reality is is what he knows too, is that when the tide rolls out, you discover who's been swimming naked is not just about who has been investing, who hasn't, where people's money is, where it isn't, but also it has to do with people's mindsets and how much they fortified it.

Speaker 1:

How many of you believe that mindset is at the center of investing? How many of you believe that some aspect of investing involves mindset. Are you kidding me? For sure, big time. I mean, the reality is there are two major aspects of investing and building wealth around investing, and it's time and timing. Just to keep it very simple, time and timing. Timing is the wind, the time is length of time. The reality is is you could have an individual botch, the time part or the timing part, and at the root of most of that is mindset. A lot of individuals, what they do is they take themselves and they take their mindset and they just kind of relegate it to the back burner. That's still in sight. Most individuals put it in a suitcase, lock it up, put it in the attic and stuff, stuff all over it.

Speaker 1:

The reality is, in order to be conscious, you need to be very clear of what's happening unconsciously. So famous quote from Carl Jung, famous psychiatrist from Switzerland, my country and he says until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate. Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate. And this is everybody today, all of these happenings happening and literally they're just saying it's fate or it just is what it is, and the reality is there's no taking maximum ownership. You're not taking responsibility, and so we're gonna give you some examples here. This is really, really, really important for you to get that. The most successful people and the wealthy people they're not just stumbling upon this, but at the center of it and at the beginning of all of it was a lot of deep work, right? Great quote from our mentor, darren Hardy. He said to walk fast, you need to walk with people who walk faster than you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the world changers and the universe dentures. They walk really fast.

Speaker 1:

I mean real fast Right.

Speaker 2:

And one thing that these people do is they do not wallow in their past.

Speaker 1:

Yep.

Speaker 2:

They just don't have time for it, right? They get clear on what's limiting them, they do the work to resolve it and then they move on.

Speaker 1:

This is important, and then they get really engaged. I hate the word busy, because busy is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Don't ever tell us that you've been busy, because we'll filet you and then we'll say well, the question is, have you been productive? Because busy just means you're doing a lot of busy work and a lot of people have an addiction to being busy. The question you need to ask yourself is yeah, my schedule's slammed and yes, I'm fully engaged. That's fine. Are you engaged to the right things and are you getting results? Are you being productive?

Speaker 1:

Okay, but this is a great quote from Arnold After you do the self-work, you need to get. He used the word busy and you guys know what we feel about that, but anyway, we'll just go with what his direct quote was he goes you need to get busy and put your mind onto something else. He goes I lost my brother. I lost my dad. I did the work to make sure I was good with it and then I got to work. There's a lot of individuals that are troubled with a lot of emotional problems today because they have too much time on their hands.

Speaker 2:

And so they're just stuck wallowing that in that emotion.

Speaker 1:

Quote, unquote, from Arnold Schwarzenegger, somebody who truly gets mind power right All of the super achievers that we study. They're clear on what limits them and they do the work to resolve it and they move on. They do the thing, they lean into it and they lean through it Again. We talked about this last week, but it bears repeating, and not all of you are aware. Elon Musk doesn't have time to obsess about the traumas in his past and, by the way, anyone who knows him knows he had some and some big ones. He doesn't have any time for that anymore because he has to go build rocket ships, oh, and make a crop load of money. I don't know if you all know, but literally his annual income is $16.18 billion. If you want to break that down, his daily income is $44.38 million. How about them apples? You don't know what. His hourly rate is 1.847. So almost 1.9 million every hour. While we've been talking here, it's almost probably been about $1.5 million that Elon's earned. Crazy, crazy crazy.

Speaker 2:

And Oprah Winfrey? She didn't have time to wallow in her past because she needed to become the richest female self-made billionaire, with her net worth estimated at 2.5 billion Billion with a B, no time to worry about and wallow in her past.

Speaker 1:

By the way, she wore potato sacks for clothes and was raped many times as a child, had a tough upbringing, did the work, resolved it, stopped telling herself a story that she was a victim and that was victimized her whole life, instead stepped to the cause side of the equation, took responsibility and said I am going to become the richest woman on this planet.

Speaker 1:

She is. But anyone who knows anything about Oprah and we studied Oprah very, very closely, man has she done a lot of self-work, a lot of self-work, yep, a lot of self-work Right, one of her, one of her coaches, even that helped her do a lot of self-work in the modern era because she had some back in the day, but was one of my first mentors. Tony Robbins Done private work with Oprah Winfrey to help her to get rid of all of her running parachutes. Let them go Right. So this is so, so important. We're telling you this so that, hopefully, you start getting ideas in your head like man. Have I really, really, really considered every happenstance in my past, reevaluated each one, no matter how negative it is, and instead taken it and use it as fuel?

Speaker 2:

Let your hardships fuel your resilience.

Speaker 1:

We talked about that on call number one. I think it's time for you to write that down again. My hardships fuel my resilience. Make it into a my. My hardships fuel my resilience. The more you're able to look at your hardships as a gift and a blessing, the more resilient you will become. And, ladies and gentlemen, this is core resilience. This is a type of resilience that literally some of the most successful people have, where they saw a business almost just poof and thin air and the next day they got back to work and then, within a matter of months, if not less, we're already back to millions of dollars.

Speaker 1:

Warren Buffett has another great quote. He said I'm convinced if we took all of the money that was on the planet and we equally distributed it amongst every person on the planet, I'm convinced it would only be a matter of time that all the money would be back in the bank accounts of the individuals who had it in the beginning. Think about that for a minute. This is so important. This is so important. We are, in some places in the world, in a recession, in some places in the world heading into a recession, regardless. You have to understand that this is going to be the time that you can make a lot of money and build massive amounts of wealth if you have the mindset to do so. If you have the mindset to do so, listen, you went deep and you went as deep as you need to.

Speaker 1:

For now, those of you that take our sage advice when we say make mind power breakthrough an annual pilgrimage so you can go deeper into the sense of your being, release more running parachutes and elevate more and more and more and more, you're gonna realize that each time you take mind power breakthrough, you'll go deeper and you'll go deeper and you'll be able to just shed more and more and more layers of that onion Shane. I've been doing this work for a very, very, very long time and have done so with thousands of people. For a lot of individuals to break through in the awareness, for a lot of individuals to break through in the lessons and learnings that cause the release to happen. Who's ever heard of Victor Frankel? He wrote a great book called Mansearch for Meaning. Haven't read it in a while. Read it again, especially with what we're doing in module three and module four. We studied him greatly. He was one of our greatest influencers in our running parachute release process.

Speaker 2:

He has a process called Logotherapy, which is all about finding the meaning right, the meaning behind things that happen in our life, and that's what this work is right. It's finding that lesson or learning, or the meaning, which you'll do in module four, to allow you to let go of that running parachute.

Speaker 1:

We're talking about individuals who experience the Holocaust. This is one of the darkest times in human history. Think about that for a minute. And what he recognized and realized was there were a lot of individuals two big morals to the story around. Quote unquote meaning there are individuals that had meaning for life and they lived through it and they got out of the prison camps and were able to thrive and live a great life. There was a lot of individuals who they didn't connect with anything that was really meaningful. All they were looking at was like when is their next birthday or when is Christmas or what have you? And a lot of those individuals didn't make it. They didn't survive because there wasn't enough meaning. But the individuals that were like I gotta get back to my kids, oh, they survived. I gotta get back to my grandkids, they survived. Right, massive meaning.

Speaker 1:

What Victor Frankl also discovered at the same time was okay, all these individuals that were in prison camps two very distinctive groups of individuals, though they said those that said what was me? I'm a victim. They did this to me. I will never be the same again. Those individuals had health problems, well documented wealth problems, family problems, divorce, kids disowned them, people disowned them. And then there was individuals that said what a horrific time in history. Wow, did it make me a better and stronger person? Those individuals he talks about better health, more wealth, successful businesses, families, intact. So understand this at a macro level.

Speaker 1:

Well, shay and I have designed in Mindpower. Breakthrough is literally. The awareness process is very important. That's why there's a lot of breakthroughs for a lot of you, or at least some epiphanies and some clarity of thought. And then the next module is gonna be all about getting the lessons and the learnings, as Victor Frankel would say, getting the meaning of the event, which will then allow the running parachutes to disappear. We'll talk more about that later, but let's talk about awareness, because this is what we've done thus far. Just remember this the process of change starts with awareness. The process of change starts with awareness. We can't just address the symptom, like the anger, the sadness, the not fear, the guilt, the not feeling good enough.

Speaker 2:

We can't just address the symptom. Yeah, you can't just go straight to that. You have to first have that awareness of where did this come from.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we never just look at the symptom, we always look at the root. So what do we have to do? First, root out the cause. You gotta root out the cause. Change at the subconscious level already starts happening when we discover the root cause, the first event, like where it came from right.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes it's just about pointing it out. Sometimes it's just about pointing it out that time period of when that occurred. Once you see the problems, it actually no longer has power over you. Once you get the problems, it no longer has power over you.

Speaker 2:

Because now there's awareness about it right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so you have to understand this. This is one for your notes. Identification is release.

Speaker 2:

Identification is release.

Speaker 1:

The process of change starts with awareness. Now, from Epicurus, the knowledge of sin is the beginning of salvation.

Speaker 2:

And Nathaniel Brandon said the first step toward change is awareness, the second step is acceptance.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we wanna add to this. We wanna add to this. We agree that the first step is awareness in terms of needing to change. The second step is acceptance. We would say that there's a third step, which is massive action. You wanna change, you gotta take massive action. Yeah, yeah. By the way, this isn't talked enough. It's not talked about enough in the New Age movement. It's more about the feeling good, and the feeling good feels good and it's great, but there's not enough discussion around massive action, which is why there's a lot of individuals not achieving their goals today, cause they're just applying theory and thought and in spirit and in mind and emotions, but not doing anything physical.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're sitting on the couch meditating about it, but they're not hitting the ground running doing anything about it.

Speaker 1:

So massive action. How many of you have ever heard from an individual and saying I don't feel like you're present or available? Here's the reality. Things are speeding up and at an expeditious rate. You just have to understand that More is being required of us than ever before and we are expecting of ourselves if we're a superachiever more than we ever have before. Well, you need to understand. This is something a lot of people don't know unless they've done a lot of work studying futurists. Shane, I've studied a lot of futurists Talking about Ray Kurzweil, peter Diamandis, et cetera.

Speaker 1:

So futurists are saying the next three years, we are going to experience the equivalent in growth and evolution and consciousness as we did in the last 30 years. I want you to think about that for a moment. In the next three years, we're gonna experience the equivalent in growth and evolution and consciousness and evolution of technology in the next three years. That will rival what we did in the last 30 years. So, folks, there is no time anymore. You need to understand something in terms of time. Time is an illusion and you have to understand that it's about what happens within a certain period of time. I want you guys to start thinking about it Next time you're thinking about something that you wanna do in life or in business, I don't want you to think I'll do it next year. I want you to say if I do it next year, it will be like 10 years from now, man, that'll make you make decisions a little bit quicker, I promise. I promise, I'm telling you the individuals that are at the leading edge of everything in our world today every industry, every country these are individuals that realize that within a snap is the equivalent to what used to be a year. So, man, I better take action quickly, everywhere, on my growth, on my level of impact, on my wealth, on my health. There is no longer time like there used to be in the 1990s. There was a lot of time back then. So there's so much that's being required of us. And so, going back to space, you're gonna realize you're gonna have more space. It'll actually.

Speaker 1:

Tom Brady said the moment I knew that I got good. Is an American football quarterback player? American football player at the quarterback position is, he said? I just remember it. I was in a game and the whole game slowed down for me. Wayne Gretzky said similar things. Serena Williams said similar things. Lindsey Vaughn, championship skier, said similar things, the game slowed down. For me, what caused it to slow down? Were there no longer in their head, inside the monkey mind?

Speaker 1:

or doubting this or questioning that, and listening to the itty bitty shitty committee, which is a time waster, that instead they're using their power of thought for magnificence and for creation Connecting to their hired source.

Speaker 1:

So important to understand this and so literally. This stuff's not just in our mind, but we are utilizing our mind as a tool so that we can literally rewire neural networks inside our whole body. Neurons aren't just in the brain, it's in the whole body to rewire all of them, to be more in alignment with the future self that we want to become.
